Iced Maple Latte

This easy iced maple latte is creamy, smooth, and naturally sweetened with real maple syrup. Rich espresso, whole milk, and a splash of heavy cream make it taste like a coffee shop latte, and it takes just 5 minutes to make.

Equipment

  • espresso machine
  • glass cups

Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup whole milk or milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Brew 2 shots of espresso into a small cup or mug.
  • While the espresso is still hot, stir in the maple syrup until completely dissolved.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the milk and cream.
  • Slowly pour the maple sweetened espresso over the milk and cream.
  • Stir well and serve immediately.

Notes

• No espresso machine: About 5 ounces of very strong coffee works, although espresso gives you the richest latte flavor.
• Adjust the sweetness: Start with less maple syrup if you prefer a less sweet latte, then add more to taste.
• Milk options: Whole milk makes it especially creamy, but oat milk, almond milk, or your preferred milk will also work.
